Handcrafted from an antique wax seal stamp from England, this wax seal charm features a fleur-de-lis charm. The fleur-de-lis carries much symbolism including political and religious symbolism, especially in French heraldry.
The symbolism of wisdom, valor, and faith comes from the three petals representing the medieval social classes: those who worked, those who fought, and those who prayed.
The religious symbolism of the fleur-de-lis is that the three petals represent the Holy Trinity – the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
The charm is 1” round and and is available in either fine silver or bronze. It hangs from either a 14k gold-filled short-long cable chain when done in bronze or a sterling silver short-long cable chain when done in fine silver with a lobster clasp closure. The entire necklace measures 18” long.
Handcrafted in my studio just outside of Houston, Texas, each symbolic wax seal item from The Silver Acorn is hand-stamped in reclaimed fine silver or bronze and will be slightly different and uniquely yours.
