Masonic Compass and Square Wax Seal Charm Money Clip

Looking for a special gift for the groomsmen in your wedding party…maybe a graduation present, a father's day present, or just something special for that special man? This stainless steel money clip with the fine silver wax seal charm on top is the perfect choice for any of those occasions. This sleek design makes this money clip the perfect addition to any attire. At 1”x 2”, it fits neatly in a pants pocket or suit jacket pocket for easy access.

Handcrafted from an antique wax seal stamp from 1800’s England, this wax seal charm features the Masonic compass and square. A square and a set of compasses, joined together, is the single most identifiable symbol of Freemasonry. Mackey's Revised Encyclopedia of Freemasonry, of 1929 explains the symbols as follows: The Square is an emblem of virtue in which we must "square our actions by the square of virtue with all mankind".

The Compasses exemplify our wisdom of conduct,... the strength to "circumscribe our desires and keep our passions within   due bounds". When these 2 Masonic tools are placed together with God (the Creator) as our central focal point... peace and harmony is the result.

Handcrafted in my studio just outside of Houston, Texas, each symbolic wax seal item from The Silver Acorn is hand-stamped in reclaimed fine silver or bronze and will be slightly different and uniquely yours.
