Valentines Day

Struck By Love Beyond Control - Heart with Single Arrow Under Crown

Handcrafted from an antique family crest wax seal on a vellum document dated 1719 England in which a father is indenturing his “spinster daughter” who is 18 years old to an old man. This talisman features a heart pierced with an arrow topped with a crown. The crown symbolizes leadership and success. The heart pierced with one arrow is a symbol for someone struck by love that is beyond their control.

I thought it so ironic that the family seal was so opposite of what the daughter must have been feeling.

This fine silver talisman is approximately a 1/2” round and hangs on a 18" stainless steel baby ball chain that closes with a ball chain connector clasp. Other types of chains are sold separately.

Each piece of jewelry from The Silver Acorn comes packaged in a tasteful gift box with a meaning card ready for gift-giving.

Handcrafted in my studio in Spokane, Washington, each symbolic wax seal item from The Silver Acorn is hand-stamped in reclaimed fine silver or bronze and will be slightly different and uniquely yours.
