Valentines Day

Hope of a New Day Bracelet

Handcrafted from an antique intaglio from the 1700-1800's, this talisman features Danish sculptor, Bertel Thorvaldsen's "Morning" scene of Eos, the Goddess of the Dawn symbolizing hope of a new day.

Eos, the Titan Goddess of the Dawn, is depicted in art with rosy fingers, wearing a saffron robe and a tiara or diadem and is usually shown winged or riding a winged golden chariot. Each morning she used her rosy fingers to open the gates of heaven allowing her brother Helios, the sun God, to ride his chariot across the sky. She brought forth the hope of a new day.

The bronze talisman is just over 1” round and attached to three strands of brass cable chain with a lobster clasp closure. The bracelet measures 8" in length.

Each piece of jewelry from The Silver Acorn comes packaged in a tasteful gift box with a meaning card ready for gift-giving.

Handcrafted in my studio in Spokane, Washington, each symbolic wax seal item from The Silver Acorn is hand-stamped in reclaimed fine silver or bronze and will be slightly different and uniquely yours.
