Rebirth - Phoenix Wine Stopper

Handcrafted from an antique wax seal dating from early 1800 England, this talisman features a phoenix charm symbol of power, strength, renewal and rebirth.

According to the Greek historian Herodotus (b: 484 BC), the phoenix was a mythical bird from Ethiopia. It was spectacularly large, beautiful and adorned with mind-blowing plumage. The historian also reported that the phoenix made a nest cypress branches. Rather preparing to lay eggs, the phoenix was preparing to die. While sitting in the nest, the bird created a great deal of heat, and set itself on fire. After three days, the phoenix emerged from its own ashes - reborn and released from the sentence of death, able to live on forever.

The bronze talisman is attached on top of an 18/8 kitchen grade stainless steel and rubber stopper, making it a great house warming present, a special wedding gift or the perfect present for the wine lover in your life.

My stoppers are not just for wine, they also fit many oil and vinegar bottles, and whiskey bottles with same size openings.

Each piece of jewelry from The Silver Acorn comes packaged in a tasteful gift box with a meaning card ready for gift-giving.

Handcrafted in my studio in Spokane, Washington, each symbolic wax seal item from The Silver Acorn is hand-stamped in reclaimed fine silver or bronze and will be slightly different and uniquely yours.
